Today i will share about how tooth coloured fillings help in recreating what was lost because of a fall. Injuries are mostly seen in kids .They can fall down  injuring their teeth and mouth while playing a sport, running or when they are having a friendly fight. 

The permanent front teeth start coming into the mouth at the age of 6 and are most affected.Below are a few cases done in our clinic.

CASE 1:

Sharing pictures of a 10 year old girl who had come to our clinic 1 week after she had a hockey stick injury. She had no pain but the mother was concerned about her front tooth which was broken into half. We restored the missing part of the tooth with a tooth coloured filling and advised for a corrective orthodontic treatment later. Her teeth were forward and had spaces.

CASE 2:

We had a university student in her 20's who had a fainting spell and had a fall, she too didnt complain of any pain or sensitivity. The front left tooth was fractured. We restored it with a tooth coloured filling. She was so happy with the result because even the people who had seen her with the fractured tooth failed to tell the filling apart.

CASE 3:

We had a 9 year old male child come into our office with a fractured right front tooth after a cricket ball injury.He had brought the broken piece of the tooth which we cemented back to restore the tooth.We advised for him to also undergo corrective orthodontic treatment as his teeth too were placed too forward.

These are just some examples to say "BEAUTIFUL"doesn't always mean "PERFECT", it can mean "FORM"and "FUNCTION".
